Phillip Brown
School Safety Coordinator, Lugo-McGinness Academy (LMA)
Phillip Brown is a retired United States Marine and retired Charlottesville City Police officer who now serves as School Safety Coordinator at LMA. His responsibilities go far beyond building security — he conducts safety inspections, mentors students, motivates staff, and serves as the school's Spirit Coordinator, participating in professional development in social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices.
