Eligibility & Income Requirements
The Grace Tinsley Memorial Scholarship Program provides need-based support to low- and middle-income students pursuing post-secondary education.
Who Is Eligible?
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must be:
- A graduating senior at Charlottesville High School (CHS)
- Planning to pursue post-secondary education (college, university, or technical program)
- A low- to middle-income household, as defined by the income guidelines below
Important: Applicants must redact all Social Security numbers from any supporting documentation submitted with their application.
Household Income Guidelines
Applicants must fall within the following maximum household income thresholds based on family size:
